Job Description

About the Role

The Assistant Head of Residence supports the Head of Residence in ensuring a safe, caring, and well-managed environment for the students within the boarding community. The role includes assisting with pastoral care, supervision and daily routines, as well as promoting a positive, respectful, and inclusive boarding environment.

This is a full-time, live-in position and the successful applicant would be required to commence January 2026.

Essential Criteria

  • Working With Children - Blue Card 
  • Bus License
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • An understanding of the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice as articulated in the Charter for Catholic Schools in the Edmund Rice Tradition
  • Qualifications at either a recognised Diploma or Degree in a discipline relevant to residential care or education, or sufficient practical experience.
